JAMMU, June 6 : World Environment day was celebrated in the premises of Sacred Heart College of Education, Paloura. On the occasion, a seminar was organized by the college. Chairperson Rajni Bala was the chief guest on the occasion. She also threw light on the importance of the day. She also stressed for taking steps both jointly and individually to save the environment. MD of the college Hari Singh Chib also stressed on the importance of the day. Principal of the college Dr K K Tiwari also shared his views on the topic how to save environment. Some staff members also highlighted the importance of saving the environment. In plantation drive about 20 saplings were planted by the Chairman, M.D. of the college, with the help of students. |
