| JKNPP working committee reviews LS poll performance | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 6 : The working committee of the Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) met here at party headquarters Gandhi Nagar to discuss the party performance in the parliament elections, reasons for its poor performance and also the present political situation in the country and in the state. The meeting was presided over by Chairman JKNPP and MLA Harsh Dev Singh. The participants in the meeting while expressing their thanks to the those voters who voted for the party candidates, expressed concern over the inadequate response of the people to the party in the recently held Parliamentary Elections in J&K State. They emphasized the need to regain lost ground. The working committee of the Panthers Party was firm in its opinion that the people of the state will support the party's agenda of Reorganization and would strongly support the party in the forthcoming Assembly Elections. The working committee of the party observed that the present ruling coalition of NC and Congress has lost credibility and confidence in the state and has no moral authority to continue in power. The working committee also decided to organize a broader meeting of the active workers of the party very shortly in which Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of the party shall be specially participating who has recently returned after a weeklong visit of neighbouring country Pakistan. Prominent among those who participated were BB Kotwal Vice-Chairman, Balwant Singh Mankotia MLA and President, Daljit Singh Vice-President, Bansi Lal Sharma Adv. Political Advisor and others. |
