JAMMU, June 6: All round performance from Nitin today helped DMCC to a 16 runs win against Christian Club in the ongoing Friendship Cup Cricket Tournament at DBN ground, Mubarak Mandi, here.
Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, DMCC made 83 runs in allotted 10 overs for five wickets. Nitin played fine innings of 30 runs while Akshit contributed 15. From Christian Club, Rakesh took two wickets, followed by Sunny, who bagged one.
In reply, Christian Club bowled out for 67 runs. Rohan and Ajay were top scorers with 28 and 14 runs respectively.
From DMCC, Nitin emerged as most successful bowler with three wickets while Mohit and Bharti shared two each.
For his all-round show, Nitin was obvious choice for the man of the match title. |
