JAMMU, June 6 : Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Ek Sath Rang Mandal, observed "World Environment Day" at Open Air Theatre Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu to draw the attention of the masses for protecting nature and the planet Earth. The programme was inaugurated by V K Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department of J&K Government, Vijay Malla Renowned Writer Director of IPTA and K L Verma, renowned Disciple of Santoor Maestro, Shiv Kumar Sharma were Guests of Honors. Specially prepared themes like 'Per Bacho Desh Bachao', 'Jal Hi Jeevan, Jeevan Hi Jal Hai' 'Hariyali Laye Prithvi Bachaen Hara Bhara Ho Sansaar Humara, Sundar Sundar Pyara Pyara' and 'Pardooshan Ko Rakhho Door, Jivan Ho Shakti Se Bharpoor.' Nukkad skits, slogans, songs and dances were presented to aware the masses. The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective through the children of Music, Theatre and computer institutions |
