Jammu, June 6 : Institution of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers ( IETE ) , Jammu Chapter today hold its annual general meeting and unanimously elected Dr. Rakesh Vaid, Fellow IETE and Associate Professor in the department of Physics and Electronics, University as its new Chairman, Dr Parveen Lehana from the same dept is elected as Secretary while Ms. Deepika Sharma as Hon. Treasurer for the period 2014-16. In the AGM, the members lauded the efforts of the outgoing team comprising of Er. Joy Ganjoo, Dr Pawanesh Abrol and Er. Vijay Sharma for the upliftment of the IETE Jammu centre and also felicitated them through the senior most fellow of IETE Jammu centre Maj. Gen. S K Sharma, AVSM (Retd), who also acted as election observer.
