| Govt cement seized, accused arrested | | | Doda, June 6 : Police have claimed to have arrested one person involved in black marketing cement meant for government works along with the seizure of 23 bags from the accused person.
According to police, 23 bags of ACC cement of rural development department were seized on Thursday evening (May 5), by a Police Party of P/S Doda led by Insp Puspinder Singh which was issued to one Noor Mohd s/o Ab Gani Batt of Halla Dhara District Doda for construction of foot path, lane & drain of the village but the cement was being utilized by him for the construction of his house.
A case under FIR No 101/2014 U/S 409/411 RPC has been registered at Police Station Doda against the above mentioned accused and was arrested by police while further investigation is on. |
