Kathua, June 6 : Continuing its drive against the absconders Kathua Police under the supervision of Mohan Lal, Superintendent of Police (SP) Kathua succeeded in arresting one absconder who was evading arrest for the last six years. "The absconder has been identified as Rash Paul Chand S/O Paras Ram of Thathi in District Udhampur, police said. "Based on a specific information, police said further adding, "a raid was conducted by the police party of PP Ramkot and the accused was arrested from his residence (Thathi) who was evading his arrest in case FIR No. 07/2000 U/S 279,337,338 RPC of P/S Billawar.' An arrest warrant against the accused /absconder was issued by Court on 08/03/2008 u/s 512 CrPC, police added. Police said, "The arrested accused was later produced in the Court of JMIC Billawar for further legal action." |
