| Joint search operation launched to nab hiding militants | | | DODA, APR 20 Security Forces and STF today launched a joint search operation in Dheraja village, about 2 km away from the Bhaderwah town, to trace out the ultras reportedly hiding there. Acting on specific information about the presence of some ultras in the village, who had escaped from the encounter site two days back from Dandi, in which two LeT militants were eliminated and four others managed to escape, the forces launched a search operation to apprehend them. The forces cordoned off the area and launched search operation which lasted for four hours; however no militant was traced out. According to reliable sources, the escaped militants were present in the Bhaderwah area, and one of the ultra is injured and it is possible he will try to come down in the town for treatment, said Amar Singh 2IC 78 Battalion CRPF. He further informed that LeT has lost its ground in the Bhaderwah as people of the area are cooperating with security forces. Sources disclosed that search operations will continue in the area for some more days to nab the militants.
