| GDCT felicitates Khatana | | |

Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust today felicitated Haji Nizam-ud-Din Khatana, who was recently re-elected as Member of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council.
On the occasion, Haji Nizam-ud-Din visited the multi-crore Gurjar Cultural and Research Complex being raised by the Trust and is presently in advanced stage of construction. He also visited the recently inaugurated Conference Hall and Researchers House of the Trust which has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 30 lakhs.
While, welcoming Khatana, the Trustees highlighted the role of Haji Sahib in upliftment of the marginalized sections of the society. Because of his dedicated and determined efforts, the trustees said a number of schemes and programmes have been launched which have greatly helped the tribals.
Speaking on the occasion, Khatana had a word of high praise for Masud Choudhary, the Chairman as also of the other Trustees of the GDCT, who, he said, had been working ceaselessly for the betterment of the tribals most especially for their educational advancement. Haji also announced a donation of Rs 5 lakhs to the Trust and said that in future also he will help the Trust in implementation of its noble programmes.
