| 3 docs, engineer among 60 employees suspended | | | Srinagar, April 20 At least sixty government employees were today placed under suspension, allegedly for remaining absent from duty, during a surprise checking in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.
It was reliably learnt that a special squad comprising senior officials was constituted by the district administration of Kulgam to conduct surprise checks at various government offices.
During the checking the squad found at least 60 employees absent from the duty, who were immediately placed under suspension, sources told News Agency of Kashmir.
The suspended employees include three doctors, one Assistant Executive Engineer, one Veterinary Officer and one Assistant Secretary, sources added.
