| DC Srinagar reviews arrangements for Urs Peer-i-Dastgeer Sahib | | | Srinagar, April
The Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar along with a team of officers reviewed the arrangement in connection with Urs Peer-i-Dastgeer Sahib Khanyar and Sarai Bala.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned authorities to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply, transport and sanitation in and around the twin shrines during the Urs period commencing on April 18.
The authorities were also directed to put into service water tankers for un-interrupted water supply. Besides, Municipal authorities were asked to install street lights around the shrines at Khanyar and Sarai Bala.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioners, officers of PHE and PDD and representatives of Srinagar Municipal Corporation.
