| CEO Udhampur suspends headmaster GMS Bernda | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 15: Taking cognizance of the complaints lodged by the locals, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Udhampur and Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Pancheri has suspended a headmaster of Government Middle School (GMS), Bernda during their surprise visit there. CEO Udhampur, Balbir Singh along with ZEO Pancheri, Pawan Slathia found that only one ReT teacher Ritu Sharma was present in the school out of five teachers and all the remaining four teachers were shown on leave but their leaves were not duly sanctioned and sent to the pay centre. ZEO was astonished to notice that Ranjeet Singh, the Incharge of the School had availed 60 to 70 duties unauthorizedly w.e.fSeptember 13 till date which the arrival/departure register has shown that he had attended the Election Office Bishnah without any duty slip deputation and without seeking the permission of the DDO.
On interacting with the students ZEO Slathia came to know that the staff has covered a little portion of the prescribed syllabus since they are habitual absentees. Slathia immediately ordered to stop the salary of the Headmaster Incharge of the School for remaining absent from the School without valid permission. He was also asked to explain his absence from the School in the name of un-authorized duties at Election Office at Bishnah for 60-70 days. He was also directed to produce the Duty Slips Deputation Order Permission from ZEO Office Pancheri. |
