| Weatherman predicts rain after scorching heat | | | Early Times Report
Jammu/Srinagar, June 16: Relief from the scorching heat is expected in the coming days as the weatherman on Monday predicted rain and thundershowers with strong winds at some places over Jammu and Kashmir for the next four days. Kashmir valley witnessed much increase in the temperatures during the last few days with today's temperature was recorded as 32.8. In Jammu, the temperatures on Monday was recorded as 41.5. The people of the region from the last several days are witnessing unabated increase in the temperatures. In Leh, the temperature remained 30.2 on Monday. The MeT maintained during the last 24 hours there is a possibility of light rain and thundershowers towards afternoon. Maximum and Minimum temperatures will be around 30°C and 14°C respectively in Srinagar. In Jammu, the weather department predicted rain and thundershowers. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 38°C and 28°C respectively. Ladakh will be partly cloudy sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 28°C and 9°C respectively |
