Prominent Non Governmental Organization (NGO) of District Doda namely Doda Social Workers Forum (DSWF) is going to organize a 4th free medical eye camp at Jodhpur Doda on 8th May 2007 on the eve of World Red Cross Day. It is pertinent to mention here that this DSWF earlier organizes such type of camp at different parts of Doda District during the last 3 years on the same occasion. Mr. Raja Anayatullah Khan Chairman of this Forum while talking with our Correspondent stated that during the last year, near about 1000 patients were given free treatment by our Forum & in this coming camp at Jodhpur Doda, doctors from Jammu & Kashmir are expected to participate in the camp & examined more & more patients. As per reports Mr. Raja Anayatullah Khan Chairman DSWF was recently awarded with life time achievement award by Doda civil society under the aegis of YSCC Doda & was also awarded as Best Social Workers by South Asia Peoples Forum for Peace Jammu & Kashmir Chapter during last year. |
