| Jugal Kishore convenes review meetings at Poonch, Mandi | | |
JAMMU, APRIL 21
Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma reviewed the achievements registered and expenditure incurred in varied sectors in a meeting convened at Poonch district here yesterday.
The Minister, who is on three-day tour to Poonch conducted the meeting of senior officers of various departments to take stock of the development works executed in the district as well as those under execution.
District Development Commissioner, Poonch Mr. J. S. Pachnanda accompanied the Minister.
Interacting with the participants, Mr. Sharma reviewed the physical and financial progress achieved under various centrally sponsored schemes. He asserted that the benefits of these schemes must reach to the most deserving people. He asked the officers to conduct frequent inspections and visits to the sites to ensure that quality is maintained. |
