| CM releases cultural academy’s newsletter | | |
JAMMU, APRIL 21
Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad released ‘Akademy’, a newsletter of Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, here today highlighting multifarious activities of the academy and providing information about latest research work in the fields of art, culture and languages.
Mr. Azad also released a set of publications brought out by the academy on various stalwarts of the state.
Chief Minister while lauding the efforts of the academy being made for promotion of art, culture and languages in the state emphasized the need to bring out publications commemorating contribution of those personalities of the state who have made a mark in various fields.
The newsletter is in Urdu and efforts are also afoot to bring out its Hindi version as well shortly.
Vice Chancellor Jammu University Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, Special Secretary to Chief Minister and Director Information Mr. Zaffar Ahmad, Secretary Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Dr. Rafiq Masoodi and Additional Secretary of the academy Mr. T. R. Sharma were prominent among those present on the occasion. |
