| All J&K Sheep and Workers Association announces its state executives | | Employees to hold tool down strike on May 15-16 | | Jammu | April 22 All J&K Sheep and Welfare Association elected its new body of office bearers for the next office term with Mohd. Gafoor Dhar elected as the state president. The new body of the office bearers was announced during the 7th State Level Conference of All J&K Sheep and Workers Association recently held on 18 April. In a press conference addressed here today it was informed that the new body elected in elections held under the supervision of Om parkash and Bharat Singh. Besides Mohd Gaffor Dar as president other elected members were Mohd. Aslam and Om Parkash as vice presidents, Bharat Bhushan Bhatti and Mushtaq Ahmaed Badana as General Secretaries, G.N. Dhobi and G.N. Sheikh as advisors, Kewal Krishan and Munsoor Ahmed Shah Secretaries, Kramat Malik and Nazir Ahmed Shah chief organizer, Shamas-ud-din wani and Ab. Razak as cashier, asstt cashier, Manzoor Ahmed Bhat and Ab Hussain as joint secretaries, Mohi-ud-din lone and Ab bichoo as Public secretaries and Praveen Kumar as finance secretary. During the press conference the newly elected president and other members highlighted the demands like 2 ½ days extra pay, reservation of gazetted posts for non gazetted and creation of posts of section offcer.The speakers also stressed upon the govt. and high authorities of the department to solve the demands without the further delay. Both Bharat Bhushan and Mushtaq Ahmed general secretaries appealed to the employees of sheep Husbandry Deptt in the state to unite and solidarity with the banner of Association for two days ‘Tool Down’ strike on May 15-16.
