Jammu, June 25: An affectionate farewell party was accorded to outgoing SSP Jammu. Atul Kumar Goel, (IPS) Atul Goel has been transferred and posted in a prestigious organization National Investigating Agency, New Delhi. The farewell ceremony organized at District Police Lines, Jammu was attended by hundreds of the officers, including all Zonal SsP, SDPOs, Dy.SP Hqrs, Dy.SP DAR DPL Jammu, CPO DPO Jammu and others.
In his address, the outgoing SSP Atul Goel shared his experience as Police Chief of District Jammu, and extended best wishes to the officers/jawans and their families for working tirelessly throughout the period in ensuring maintenance of peace & tranquility in District Jammu.
He stressed for the attitudinal change at the cutting edge level so that general public can relay and impose faith on Police. SP Hqrs Jammu while speaking on the occasion briefly highlighted the achievements of the outgoing SSP which include lot of development works like modernization of DPL Mess, face lifting and maintenance of almost all Police Units of Distt. Jammu viz-a-viz taking care of the welfare of jawans by providing Cold water dispensing Units, Fans, round the clock clean toilet facilities and above all complete check over the criminals. Rahul Malik, SP South, Jammu, Randheer Singh, SP Hqrs, Jammu and Rajinder Singh, Dy.SP DAR DPL, Jammu were present on this occasion and wished a prosperous future to the outgoing officer. |
