Kathua, June 25: A deputation of registered ration consumers of a ration depot of Panchayat "Chan-rorian" called on Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kathua at his office chamber here today and complained unfair distribution of ration in their area due to pick and choose policy of ration dealer Omkar Nath Sharma.
While leveling the allegation on the private dealer, Sarpanch "Chan Rorian" Sanjeev Gupta, Panch Bola Nath and Chairman Judicial Committee, Chan Rorian, Khem Raj apprised the Deputy Commissioner alleging that the dealer is continually black-marketing the ration and conducting so many fraudulent practices with leaving the consumers without ration, but all this is not possible without the back-support of CA&PD officials. Urging DC Kathua to take stern action, they also demanded to depute a CA&PD official in place of Omkar Nath Sharma to monitor distribution of ration in proper way. |
