| AJKSPA to hold protest rally on July 3 | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 25: All Jammu and Kashmir State Pensioners Association (AJKSPA) criticized the state government for not implementing 6th Pay Commission in their favour and decided to hold protest rally at Press Club Jammu on July 3. Addressing a press conference, Madan Lal Abrol, General Secretary, of the State Pensioners Association accused the state government of their Anti Pensioners, Anti Working class Policies. He said State Pensioners have been struggling for the last more than 4 years in connection with their problems relating to the implementation of the 6th Pay Commission but unfortunately, the State Government has shown no reasonable response till date.He said that State Government enhanced the salary of the Legislators with three times hike and perks amounting to more than ninety thousand Rupees per month. Moreover, the Government has enhanced the Medical Allowance of Legislators from Rs.300/- to Rs.1000/- per month. This attitude of the Government of giving priority to the Legislators in giving them enormous amount of emoluments and showing the utter neglect to the pensioners and employees is highly unethical and discriminatory one. |
