3 SRTC employees held for bid to disturb Amaranth yatra

Jammu, June 26: Police today arrested three SRTC employees as a preventive measure following their threat to disturb the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra as a strategy to impress their demands upon state government and the concerned authorities. They arrested employees been identified as Rashpal Singh s/o Darshan Singh of Nanak Nagar,Gurdeep Singh s/o Kirpal Singh of Makhanpur,R.S Pura and Manjeet Singh son of Bhajan Singh of Kujwani,Jammu According to police, the trio was arrested following the complaint by the SRTC, alleging there in , that the drivers on consolidate basis have been intending to go on strike to disturb the yatra. Following the complaint, lodged with police the Trikuta Nagar police arrested the three employees who were waiting for the other daily wagers employees, purportedly 150 in numbers to make the strike effective.
