Power shut down 6/26/2014 11:26:04 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 26: In order to carry out the work of replacement of Jai Maa Make Disc Insulators at Grid Station Barn and rectification of Hotspots/ weak points and routine maintenance of 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Barn and replacement of worn out /damaged jumpers of 220 KV D/C Barn-Kishanpur Transmission Line, the shut down of 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Barn and 220 KV D/C Barn-Kishanpur Transmission Line on 27.6.2014 from 7 am to 11 am is allowed. As intimated by the Chief Engineer, S&O Wing Jammu during the shutdown the power supply to district Reasi and areas fed from Grid Station Canal, Pouni Chak, Katra, Chandak, Jourisn Gharota and Grid Station Barn shall be affected besides 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Barn shall also remain complete off during the shut down. However, district Rajouri, District Poonch and Draba shall be fed from older system from Gladni Grid Station.
