| SEECC urges CM, DyCM to end adhocism in Education Deptt | | | Early Times Report Kathua, June 26: School Education Employers Co-ordination Committee (SEECC) Province Jammu held a meeting at Kathua under the chairmanship of Amar Nath Thakur provincial president SEECC Jammu wherein members urged Chief Minister and Dy Chief Minister to regularize all the joint directors, CEO' s principals, ZEO's lecturers and headmasters. In his address Thakur said that more than 3000 three thousand I/C officers in the education department are without regularization since long. He also demanded that all seniors who were not regularized as lecturers on 07/03/2013 in spite of the fact that they were seniors in the eligibility list of 2011 may be regularized and given the seniority and monetary benefit from the date their juniors have been given. He said that state chairman SEECC and president Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) Ab Quyoom Wani has already taken up the issue with concerned minister during the meeting held on June 3 and hoped that chief minister will surely consider this genuine and long pending demand. He also mentioned that Supreme Court directions in the case of Suraj Parkash Gupta v/s General Administration Department order no . 743 GAD of 2007 at 28/06/2007 has directed all the administrative department to regularize all I/c officers through regular DPC. All officers said that they are optimistic that chief minister will regularize them at the earliest. A delegation of Jammu province SEECC will also proceed Srinagar to take the issue with all concerned authorities also. He also informed that next meeting at kathua shall be held on June 29. Among those who spoke in the meeting included Surjeet Singh , Kuldeep Singh, Surjeet Singh and Ram Dass Sharma. |
