Distt administration receives, flags off Amaranth Yatries at Lakhanpur

KATHUA, June 26 : District Administration headed by District Development Commissioner Kathua, Jitendra K Singh, in the presence of DIG, Jammu-Kathua Range Shakeel Ahmed Beig, today received and flagged off the Shri Amaranth Ji Yatries at Lakahanpur.
Earlier, the DC Kathua and DIG inaugurated the newly set up Yatri assistance and registration centre at Lakhanpur near new toll plaza complex. On the occasion an impressive devotional programme on the lord Shiva mesmerized the yatries who turn out in large numbers. The scintillating performance by the artists in Shiv-Parvati characters amid religious ferour and spiritual ambience. The programme was organised by Information Department Kathua.
The DC Kathua while interacting with the Yatries gave away information brochure and leaflets containing important Maps and Telephone numbers. While speaking on the occasion, the DC said district administration has done all the homework for the Amaranth Yatries.
