JAMMU, June 26 : A group of Amarnath pilgrims today staged a protest against the authorities for not providing proper facilities to them.The pilgrims, who had visited the base camp at Bhagwati Nagar here, raised slogans against the authorities for not making adequate arrangements for their registration and stay in Jammu. The pilgrims complained that they were being sent from one place to another for registration purpose since yesterday and they could not find the concerned officials. The authorities have not also made adequate arrangements for their stay in the city for onward journey to the cave shrine of Amarnath, the pilgrims, who had come from different parts of the country, alleged. |
