| Statistical employees association calls on Karra | | | JAMMU, APRIL 23
– A deputation led by President of Jammu and Kashmir Statistical Employees Association (Planning and Development Department) Mr. Mehraj-ud-Din called on Minister for Finance and Planning Mr. Tariq Hameed Karra here today.
The deputation apprised the Minister of their demands including removing of pay anomalies.
The Minister gave a patient hearing to the members of the deputations and assured that their genuine demands would be looked into.
The Association has already met to the Principal Secretary Planning and Development Department Mr. S. S. Kapoor and presented a charter of demands who assured sympathetic consideration for the same.
Following the assurances made by the Minister and Secretary Planning and Development Department, J&K Statistical Employees Association has postponed the proposed strike on 25th April.
