| BMO tenders apology soon after misbehaving with SDM | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, June 30: The Block Medical Officer (MBO) Mendher in Poonch District today had to eat a humble pie as he has to aplogy after having allegedly misbehaved with concerned Sub District Magistrate (SDM) who visited the hospital after receiving some complaints against functioning of hospital. Meanwhile District authorities charge-sheeted BMO for his alleged misbehaviour. According to sources, the Sub-District Magistrate (SDM) Mendhar Ramesh Kumar after receiving complaints from the people about non functioning of Ultra Sound section of Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Mendhar. "When SDM visited the hospital, he found bad conditions of the hospital. He also made a round of wards and expressed his dismay over the worst condition of the hospital," sources said and further informing, "when SDM went inside OPD section, a doctor namely Mukesh Sharma, Surgeon Specialist had an argument with visiting SDM. Sources said the said doctor was appointed under NHRM scheme however after qualifying his PSC he was posted at District Hospital (DH) Poonch but he still is continuing with his services at SDH Mendher against the govt order. The SDM called BMO Mendher Parvez Ahmad Khan to apprise him about the misbehave of a doctor, but to the surprise of SDM Mendher, the BMO Mendher favoured his subordinate and also have undue altercations with the visiting district official. Later the matter was reported to DC Poonch for appropriate action Meanwhile Sajad Ahmad Khan, DC Poonch, when contacted told that it is wrong to misbehave with a senior officer. "I had sought report from CMO Poonch in this regard, he said and added both the BMO and the doctor in question had tendered apologies for their act. |
