JAMMU, June 30: People’s Democratic Party leader Bharat Chowdhary, who has been allotted party ticket for fighting elections to J&K state assembly, from Jammu East constituency, has stepped up his election campaign, by holding meetings of people from various walks of life.
As many as 50 prominent youth leaders representing various sections of the society, from Jammu city East, today joined the PDP and pledged their hole hatred support to Chowdhary, himself a youth leader and assured of working hard to get him elected to the state assembly in the forthcoming elections.Welcoming the new entrants in the party, Chowdhary stated that PDP is committed to empowering the youth, solving their burning problems and creating employment avenues for them.
He added that he will be soon meeting the Union HRD Minister, urging for formulating special skill development programs for the Jammu youth as well as initiating steps for youth in Jammu getting gainful employments. |
