The 18- member delegation of parliamentarians, academicians and jurists from across the Line of Control, led by Muslim Conference Supremo, Sadar Mohammed Abdul Qayyum Khan, former Premier and President of PoK, arrived here this evening to attend the ‘2nd Intra Jammu and Kashmir Heart to Heart Talks ’convened by the leaders and intellectuals of Jammu and Kashmir Coordination Committee.
Sardar Qayyum was, among others, accompanied by senior vice president Pakistan Peoples Party in PoK, Ch. Mohammed Yasin, former minister and MLA, Raja Farooq Haider Khan, Sardar Mohammed Yaqoob, MLA and former Minister Asad Zaidi, member Gilgit Council and Deputy Speaker, Sardar Usman Ali Khan, Central Coordinator Youth Wing of Muslim Conference Riaz Inqlabi, President Bar Association Mirpur, Prof Taqdees Gillani and Prof Shafique Ahmed of Muzaffarbad University.
Prof Bhim Convenor of ‘Heart to Heart Talks’ and Chairman of the Panthers Party along with one hundred activists, including Romesh Khajuria, national general secretary of Young Panthers, Sanjay Sachdev, President Delhi Pradesh Panthers Party, Ms Nasreen Hamid, senior journalists and B S Billowria national general secretary of the party received Abdul Qayyum and his team at the airport .
Prof Singh said that ten more parliamentarians and jurists from Mirpur and Kotli would be arriving here on April 25 while the session is slated for April 26.
