Jammu, June 30: A 30 year-old youth made an abortive life bid to end his life by hanging self at his residence in Malhotra Street in old city. A case under appropriate section stands registered against accused at concerned police station. "The accused has been identified as Vijay (30) son of late Anil Sharma of Malhotra street near Super Bazaar Jammu, police sources said.
Police sources said that in a sheer luck family members of accused noticed him making a bid upon his life and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) in an unconscious condition. "He was responding to the treatment when last reports came in, police sources said. They said a case in this connection has been registered to ascertain the exact reasons behind taking such an extreme step by the accused. |
