| Govt denying jobs to ReZs of Jammu division, alleges JKATA | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 30: Rehbar-e- Ziraats from Jammu division under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) today staged a protest demonstration against the delay in the publication of regularization list. The protesting ReZs said that the regularization list of Kashmir division was published on June 23, however, the cabinet decision was to regularize 881 in first batch with effect from April 1, then why the list of only 440 was published. "We have only heard of discrimination in the past but this is happening in the present," a ReZ said. The ReZs said that it is not new as they were regularized after 9 years instead of other recruiting and regularization policies of State Government. This leads to the main dispute as former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has said this policy is totally wrong and if the present CM Omar Abdullah is sincere to listen to the grievances of common citizen he should have scrapped this unjustifiable policy as he did in case of other recruiting policies of J&K. While addressing media Dr Surinder Radotra warned State Government and department of Agriculture that if the regularization list is not published immediately we all ReZs will have to take extremely harsh steps for which Omar Abdulla's state government will be responsible. |
