| BJP leaders tour Poonch | | |
Jammu | Apr 23 BJP State General Secretary (Organization) Ajay Jamwal and Prabhari, Poonch district Rajesh Gupta, paid 2 – day visit of Pooch district and chaired a number of meetings of party activist at Mendhar, Surankot and Poonch city. A number of issues related to the party’s organizational set up and over all situation of the district were discussed. Ajay Jamwal, while addressing the senior leaders, members of district and mandal teams and district presidents of BJYM, Mahila Morcha and Kissan Morcha stressed on gearing up the party activities, constitution of committees at the booth levels and reaching the masses. He said the coalition government is suffering from infighting and the possibility of early elections cannot be ruled out. Rajesh Gupta, while addressing the party activists at these places, criticized the present Congress led coalition government in the state for neglecting Mendhar, Surankot and Poonch city in all spheres. Distt. President Satish Sasan briefed the visiting leaders of various activities undertaken during the last two months in the district. He told the visiting leaders that there are reports of removal of security picket from Magnaad village of the district which houses population of minority community. Ilyas Khan, Ujagar Singh, Vipan Kandhari, Sanjeev Sharma, Pardeep Sharma, Sunil Gupta, Devinder Kumar, Ram Murti Sharma, Amrish Khajuria, Lala Pritam Lal Anand, Ajit Singh, Sher Khan and Om Parkash Sharma also addressed the meetings.
