JAMMU, APRIL 23
Jammu and Kashmir Auxiliary Police Kashmir unit, celebrated its 18th Raising Day at Auxiliary Police Headquarters, Srinagar today, in which various senior police, civil, retired police officers and prominent citizens participated.
While addressing the function, the Commandant Auxiliary Police Ist Bn. Srinagar lauded the role of Auxiliary Police in performing their duties like security, traffic, guarding and various vital installations in the valley and other law and order duties. He appreciated the work done by the jawans during recent heavy snow fall and floods in the valley.
At the conclusion of the function, a march-past and cultural programme was presented.
