Jammu, July 6: Kashmiri Pandits have decided to organize a mahapanchayat to decide on the return to Kashmir valley. According to press release, a joint meeting of various social organizations was held at Jagti Township in which a large number of people participated, discussed threadbare the present political scenario regarding the rehabilitation of Kashmiri pandits. All the speakers stress upon the unity among all the frontline and other social organizations and consensus on rehabilitation of KPs in the valley. The meeting applead all the leaders to sit together prior to meeting with GOI and to formulate and submit a single memorandum with one voice to defeat the nefarious and ill designs of the political and some self -styled leaders. It also warned and rejected the individuals and some organizations approaching the Home Department, having no ground support and mandate on the part of the community. The meeting passed a unanimous resolution to organize a Mahapanchayat of all the responsible leadership of the community to make consensus on the rehabilitation, and presence of every one is essential, the date and venue of the meeting shall be conveyed to them very shortly. The meeting also criticized and lashed out the recent statements and two nation theory passed by some separatists and grand Mufti on the return of Kashmiri pandits.
