| Good governance, fulfilling employees’ demands Government's priority: Sham | | | Early Times Report
AKHNOOR, July 6: Fulfilling aspirations of government and other Daily wagers employees and providing good governance in the State are the top priorities of the coalition government. This was stated by the Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Sham Lal Sharma while addressing a function organized by Teachers' Forum Akhnoor here today. Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) Teachers' Forum, Akhnoor thanked the coalition government for announcing the service benefits of first five years of stipendiary service to the ReT teachers and making it transferable, describing it a historic decision. Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) Teachers' Forum while hailing the decision said that the decision has generated joy and happiness among ReT teachers and their families. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sham Lal Sharma said that these were the most genuine demands of the Forum and by conceding them the coalition government has fulfilled the long pending demands of the ReT teachers. He said that the government has shown a sympathetic approach towards ReTs like other employees. He further said that this decision would benefit more than 60,000 ReT Teachers of the state. Earlier, the Minister inaugurated blood donation camp at Domana organized by Sant Nirankari Mandal Domana. The minister described the camp an important step towards service of the society. |
