| Homeland is birth right of Kashmiri Pandits : Panun Kashmir | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 6: Panun Kashmir today organized a one day activists meet at the Sanskriti Bhawan, Roop Nagar to take stock of the emerging political scenario concerning the religiously cleansed Kashmiri Pandit community. The meet was attended by hundreds of activists from various parts of the country that had converged to decide the future course of action when the various forces are hell bent to destabilize the Kashmiri Pandit community.
The meeting was jointly addressed by Dr. Agnishekher, Convener, Panun Kashmir and Dr.Ajay Chrungoo, Chairman, Panun Kashmir.
Addressing the activists and prominent citizens Dr.Ajay Chrungoo said, "The religiously cleansed Kashmiri Pandit community had expressed its resolve to return to Kashmir when the religious, social, political and communal fault lines responsible for the holocaust and genocide of the community are addressed and justice delivered. This resolve was reaffirmed through the unanimous Margdarshan Resolution unanimously in 1991.Various statements from the separatist formations that they will not allow the return and rehabilitation of the Pandits and opposition of the Homeland for Kashmiri Pandits vindicates the fact that the only creation of Homeland with the Union territory of status with the constitutional guarantees is the only solution to reverse the religious cleansing and guarantee against any future refoulment.These statements reveal the real mindset of the people who have communalized the social structure of Kashmir.Panun Kashmir is marching ahead with the torch of empowerment of the community and we are upbeat by the response of the community to the Margdarshan Resolution that envisages the separate homeland in Kashmir for the community."
Dr.Agnishekher exhorted the masses take be cautions and said," Panun Kashmir is well aware that fifth columnists and the mercenaries of the enemy are playing devious games to destabilize the Kashmiri Pandit community by subjecting it to the servitude of the killers of the community and keep it as hostage for their personal benefits. The need is to expose those enemies of the community who are wrecking the community interests by floating the balloons of separate zones. The youth of the community has the frontline role in consolidating the rank and file to regain our ancestral Homeland in Kashmir and restore our dignity and honor once for all. Exiled Kashmiri Pandit community not settle for anything but Homeland .It is the mantra of our existence and the seed of the Indian nationhood.Margdarshan Resolution of 1991 for the creation of Homeland is the cardinal principle for upholding the right to life and limb of our community.Panun Kashmir warns those people who are hob nobbing with the enemies of the community and scuttling the birth right of every KP that is the separate Homeland in Kashmir."
Both leaders declared that Panun Kashmir has chalked the future course of events for the realization of the Homeland in Kashmir and they appeal to the Kashmiri Pandit community that there is no need for desperation and despondency as Panun Kashmir is in the forefront with renewed vigour.Panun Kashmir is one family and one ideological unit. There is no need for any speculations.
Activists were upbeat and dedicated themselves for the ideal of separate Homeland. |
