| Unidentified youth knocked to death | | | Jammu, July 6: An unidentified youth was knocked to death by an unidentified vehicle near Paloura falling under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
Police said that identity of the deceased could not be established yet as nothing recovered from his possession which could help to ascertain his identity.
Police said that incident took place when he was going to somewhere and while reaching near Paloura, he was hit by an unidentified vehicle.
The collision was so potent that he died on the spot. Later, the body of the deceased was shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for legal formalities.
Police have registered a case and started investigation to establish the identity of the deceased and the absconding driver.
