| LeT refutes army’s claim | | |
Jammu, April 23 Lashker-e-Toiba today refuted the claims of army that its cadre were responsible for killing three HM militants in Bonjwa area of Bhaderwah in mountainous district Doda, whose bodies were recovered by a search party on Sunday. A caller, identifying himself as Dr Abdullah Gaznawi spokesman of LeT, told News Agency of Kashmir that the army was making baseless claims “only to create misunderstanding within the militant’s ranks”. “The Mujahideen were buried under snow avalanche in the month of January and their bodies were recovered only after the snow melted down”, the caller claimed. It is pertinent to mention here that defence spokesman Col Goswami had told NAK on Sunday that three HM militants were killed by LeT cadres over some issue in Bhallessa area. However, police had counter the claim and said that the militants were killed due to snow avalanche. |
