| 82 cross LoC at Chakein-de-Bagh in Poonch | | |
Jammu, April 23
Eighty two persons today crossed the Line of Control from either side at Chakein-de-Bagh in the Border district Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.
Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that Twenty eight persons crossed over to other side of the LoC while fifty four came to Jammu and Kashmir from POK through Chakien-de-Bagh in Poonch Sector, this afternoon.
Sources said, that fifty four persons who crossed to this side include thirty two fresh visitors from PoK, while the remaining twenty two were those who had gone to meet their relatives across.
Those who crossed to other side of LOC include twelve fresh and sixteen returnees. The returnees were given a warm send of by their relatives to whome they had come to meet after several decades.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DAR) Mohd Shabir from this side while designated officer of Hajeera POK, Nayeem Jafri were present on the occasion. (NAK)
