| Girl crushed under tree, another dies in mishap | | |

While as a girl died in a road mishap at Pattan, another girl was crushed to death after a poplar tree fell on her at Magam in Jammu and Kashmir, here today, official sources said.
Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that an over speedy Matador bearing registration No JK09/0558 hit a nine year old girl at Bosu village in Pattan area on Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway. The girl died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Mahpara 9, daughter of Fayaz Ahmad Mir, of Pashnag. A Case has been registered by the Police in this connection.
Meanwhile, another girl was crushed to death at Nooripora village of Magam area when a popular tree got uprooted due to strong blowing of wind and fell on her.
She has been identified as Shahida Bano 16, daughter of Gh. Mustafa Dar, of Nooripora Budgam.
