| AJKHLA expresses concern over Geelani’s anti-India tirade | | | Jammu April 24 Expressing serious concern over anti-India tirade by hardcore secessionists, led by Sayeed Ali Geelani in Kashmir Valley, All Jammu and Kashmir Hotels and Lodges Association, (AJKHLA) has accused government of its failure to take stern action against these disruptive elements. The Association has alleged that the long rope given by the authorities to the secessionists have given sudden spurt in militancy in the valley, particularly when the tourist season has set in. The present anti-India tirade let loose by Geelani and his supporters, who raised anti-India slogans publicly at a rally in Srinagar, are bound to have its negative fall out on the tourists coming to the Valley which in turn will also affect Jammu, the AJHLA has contented. The Association, in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its President Inderjeet Khajuria, has demanded that government should take serious note of these unhealthy developments at a time when tourisms has started picking up in the Valley . The anti-national and anti-people elements are bent upon destroying the tourism, the mainstay of the state’s economy, the meeting observed. Among others present in the meeting included Pawan Gupta, General Secretary, Ajay Gupta, senior vice president, H S Manhas vice present, Ajay Suri secretary, Vikram Singh, publicity secretary and Baldev Treasurer.
