Cabinet approves 3% D.A to employees
Srinagar, June 24 – Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has approved the release of 3 percent dearness allowance with effect from January 2006 raising dearness allowance from 21 percent to 24 percent to the state government employees including work charge/whole time contingent paid employees working on regular time scale and to the state/family pensioners.

Cabinet approves Apni Mandi at Poonch
Srinagar, June 24 – Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has approved the transfer of 6 kanals and 7 marlas of state land to Horticulture, Planning and Marketing Department for setting up of “Apni Mandi” at village Gohlad Tehsil Mehdhar, district Poonch.

Cabinet approves Pahalgam Master Plan, creation of Sub-Treasury at Darhal
Srinagar, June 24 – Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has approved the Pahalgam Master Plan to help develop Pahalgam as a world class tourist resort.
Cabinet also approved creation of a Sub-Treasury at Darhal, Malkhan, Rajouri.

Cabinet approves renaming of Jammu Dental College, creation of ARTOs
Srinagar, June 24 – Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has approved renaming of Government Dental College Jammu as Indira Gandhi Dental College Jammu.
Cabinet also approved creation of posts of Assistant Regional Transport Officers alongwith supporting staff for seven districts of Poonch, Kathua, Doda, Kupwara, Budgam, Pulwama and Kargil.


Cabinet approves handing over construction work of College buildings to NBCCL
Srinagar, June 24 Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr.Ghulam Nabi Azad has approved handing over the construction of buildings of Government Degree Colleges at Samba, Budgam, Beerwah, Mendhar, Basohli, Pattan, Billawar, Ramban, Uri, Bijbehara and Government College for Women, Kathua to the National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited. All these buildings are being financed by the Centre under the Prime Minister’s reconstruction plan.
Cabinet approves introduction of Bio-Technology subjects at under-graduate level
Srinagar, June 24 Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has approved the introduction of Bio-Technology as a subject at the under Graduate level at S.P. College Srinagar, Women College M.A. Road, Srinagar, Government Degree College Anantnag, Government Degree College Baramulla, Government Degree College Sopore, G.G.M. Science College Jammu, Women College Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Government Degree Colleges of Kathua, Udhampur and Rajouri from the academic session 2006-07 alongwith creation of requisite staff.

Cabinet approves transfer of 55 kanals of land to Cantonment Board at Lethpora, 75 kanals JDA land to S&S PDB
Srinagar, June 24 Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has approved transfer of 55 kanals of land situated at Lethpora, Tehsil Pampore, District Pulwama in favour of Cantonment Board for dumping garbage. Cabinet also approved transfer of 75 kanals of land from Jammu Development Authority at Nagrota Bye-Pass, Jammu to Jammu and Kashmir Sheep and Sheep Products Development Board for construction of modern Abbatoir

Cabinet approves placement of Mr. Abdul Rashid Teli as Incharge CE Mechanical Kashmir
Srinagar, June 24 Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has approved the placement of Mr. Abdul Rashid Teli Incharge Superintending Engineer (Mechanical) as Incharge Chief Engineer and posted as Chief Engineer Mechanical Engineering Department, Kashmir vice Mr. B.K. Gupta who has been transferred and posted as Incharge Chief Engineer Mechanical Engineering Department, Jammu.
