| Sayeed, Mehbooba grieved over Poonch mishap | | | Srinagar, April 25
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Patron, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and the party President, Ms Mehbooba Mufti have expressed shock and grief over the loss of precious lives in a tragic road mishap on Poonch-Surankote road.
In a statement issued here today, the PDP leaders while expressing heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families have prayed for early recovery of the injured. They have asked the administration to ensure adequate medicare facilities for the injured.
Sayeed and Mehbooba while expressing grave concern over the recurrence of such tragic mishaps, especially in the hilly districts of Poonch, Rajouri and Doda, have called for launching a massive road improvement program in these districts to avoid such disasters.
Senior PDP leaders Muzaffar Hussain Baig, Ghulam Hassan Mir and Tariq Hameed Karra have also expressed grief over the tragic mishap. |
