Jammu, July 20 : State president of Kashyap Rajput Sabha, Murari Lal ( Ex-Corporator) and State President Vishavkarma Sabha Ravi Verma and General Secretary Joginder Andotra along with their office bearers today joined Tawi Sandhya Arti and also extended their full support to the Tawi bachao Andolan for the survival of Jammu.
Chander Mohan Sharma hailed both the Sabha chiefs for their valuable support and assured them that the Andolan Members will leave no stone unturned to achieve the cherished goal of protecting and restoring Tawi of its clean, free-flow and natural water, its ecology, its beds, bunds, adjoining lands, slops and congruent forests. Sharma warned the government not to encourage land grabbing within and the peripheral areas of Tawi River and its tributaries.
"Some of the officers of the concerned departments have shown the courage to implement law and Court directions but they are being harassed by some Ministers," Sharma resented.
He called upon the people of Jammu to rise to the occasion to fight out the government and land mafia's conspiracy.' Murari Lal (Ex-Corporator) said that their community strongly feel concerned about the present day plight of the River Tawi whom they regard 'Surajputri Devi'. |
