Jammu, July 20: All India Peace and Solidarity Organization (AIPSO) has condemned the ongoing brutal murderous attacks of the Israeli armed forces against Palestinian people in Gaza strip that resulted in huge number of deaths and loss of valuable properties. "It is becoming habit of the Israeli occupation forces to attack the Palestinian people in the most heinous way to curb their struggle for an independent Palestinian State. The Israeli occupation army's aggression is being encouraged by the USA and other Countries of European community. The AIPSO while condemning this criminal act of the Israeli Authority, demands that the armed attacks against the Palestinian people must stop and the occupation armies must be removed from Palestinian territories without further delay", the press statement issued by Organization stated.
The general secretary urged upon the Union Government to take appropriate initiatives in the world forum so that Israeli aggression could be stopped immediately. The Indian Government should convey the message of brotherhood and solidarity, in the hour of disparity, as the Arab world has always showed it in the past.
The various other organizations and indivisuals who also joined with the AIPAS Organization spoke on the occasion, were Prof. Zahoor ud Din Ex Head of Urdu department Jammu University and President while speaking on the occasion appreciated the role of AIPAS organization and condemned the Israeli Aerial Attacks on the Civil Population killing small children, women and innocent Civilians who are not in any way at war with Israel. Prof Zahoor Ud Din took notice of the Zionist expansion plans and for which a reign of terror has been let loose indiscriminately on the Civil Populace of Gaza. Jamil Kazmi, Chairperson All India Tanzeem e Insaaf J&K Chapter said that the Gaza strip is hardly 60 kms in length and 6 to 8 kms in breadth housing about 95 lacs habitants is densely populated and missile , aerial attacks by F16 planes and helicopters is causing great damage and killing hundreds injuring thousands and making houseless Innocent people. He criticized the role of neighboring Muslim Countries; who have not condemned the Israel, neither the government nor the civil society has raised a voice in favor of helpless Gaza people. He said that 47 so called Muslim Countries have not agitated against the massacre, if only they have denounced the membership of United Nation or stopped oil supply to the west, this pressure could save the Gaza massacre.
He recalled that in 2009 when Israel committed atrocities on Palestine the matter was taken in the Security Council but due to unfair, hegemonic attitude and veto power the USA; frustrated the move. He showed his concern about the unequal, unfair, world order prevailing in which weak nations have lost existence to voice against the mighty.
Lakshmi Kant Advocate while condemning the inhuman activities of Israeli forces over Palestine and Gaza said that there should be a continuous process to educate the masses regarding the brutalities of hegemonic states, who are forcing their corporate system on the poor nations and are not allowing them to grow. Advocate Ashfaq Ahmed Khan, Tara Singh, Manoj Bhat, Dalip Bhatti, Sardar Hardip Singh, Pardip Singh, Pritam Gupta, Matloob Qureshi Advocate, Abdul Rashid, Majeed Anwar Chowdhary, A.M Beig were among the protestors who launched the protest in the press club enclave. |
