Jammu, July 22: Residents of R.S Pura Constituency have leveled serious allegations of corruption, favoritism, misappropriation of public funds, mis-governance and failure of sitting MLA R.S Pura Gharu Ram.
In a press statement issued on behalf of the residents, it has been alleged that R S Pura Constituency has suffered during last six years due to greed and corrupt practices of the MLA, who has gained notoriety for demanding and taking 15 percent cut for allocation of funds under CDF.
It has been further alleged that the MLA has a coterie of chosen few including his close relative who are allocated works under CDF CD Panchayat, BADP and MGNREGA and that too on commission basis.
Further leveling serious allegations against the MLA, it has been said in the press note that MLA's banquet hall namely "Kumar Palace" has been constructed using material including PHE pipes meant for public works and a vigilance raid at Kumar Palace will bring truth before the public.
"He has taken money in lieu of developmental works even at Temple, Gurudwara and Shamshanghat" the press note maintained, urging media houses to highlight alleged misdoings of the MLA so that people of R S Pura could be saved from his greed and gluttony. |
