| RJMS celebrate Dr. Iqbals birth anniversary | | |

In connection with the birth anniversary of Urdu poet and philosopher, Dr. Allama Iqbal, Rasa Javedani Memorial Literary Society organized a impressive function here today.
The function was presided over by society president Dr. Shohab Inayat Malik while president Azad Foundation, Amien Banjara was the chief guest. Speakers on the occasion described Dr. Iqbal not only as a towering poet of Urdu but also a great philosopher.
Aser Kishtwari, while speaking on the occasion quoted some verses of Iqbal poetry which reflects the secular ideas of Allama Iqbal.
He particularly referred his famous “Nazam” Sare, Jahan Se Acha Hindustan Hamara which he described a poem having a theme of national integration and communal harmony.
Banjara in his address congratulated Rasa Javedani Society for organizing the function. He said that Allama Iqbal at present is more relevant ten of his time.
Dr. Shohab Malik in his address said that Allama Iqbal has written poems like “Masjidi Qurtaba” Sare-Jahan, Se Acha” and so many written a poem on Guru Nanak Devi Ji which is a master piece of communal harmony and brotherhood. Irfan Goni Sajid Hussain, Ravi Thakur and R.K. Bharti were also present on the occasion.
