Jammu, April 25,
Senior Superintendent of Police Doda district Manohar Singh on Wednesday suspended police sub inspector Irfan Wani, choki officer of Karada police post in connection with alleged case of custodial death of Rishi Kumar of Dokai Charallan in Thatri area of Doda.
According to reports Rishi Kumar was arrested by police in connection with murder probe of one of his cousin Madan Lal. Large number of people had gathered in the area and shouted slogans against the police atrocity allegding that police cop had beaten Rishi who was later shifted to the hospital where he died
