Burglars decamped with Rs 50,000, 14 tolas gold

JAMMU, July 23: Burglars last night barged into two houses in Nagrota locality at city outskirts and escaped with Rs 50000 cash and over 14 tolas of gold jewellary. Police have registered a case in this regard.
Police sources said that last night some unidentified burglars broke into houses of Ram Rattan Sharma and Naresh Kumar and decamped with Rs 20000 cash and 14 tolas gold from the house of Ram Rattan and Rs 30000 cash along with some gold jewellary from the house of Naresh Sharma.
The owners reported the matter to police when they found their belongings lying in helter-skelter all around in their respective houses today morning. Police team visited the two spots along with team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and collected circumstantial evidences from the crime scenes.
Meanwhile a case in this connection has been registered while further investigation is on.
However, no arrest was made when last reports came in.
