| Rajouri police gives RS 25,000 to kin of deceased Cop | | | Jammu, July 25: Expressing shock and grief over the tragic death of the cop in a road accident here today, the Rajouri Police under its goodwill gesture gave handed an amount of Rs 25,000/- as immediate relief to next of kin of deceased Head Constable.
Four people, including a cop were killed when a car skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in mountainous Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir this morning.
According to police spokesperson at Rajouri, the District Police extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Head Constable Abdul Rashid of Security wing.
"Addl SP Rajouri Shiv Kumar Chowan ,Dy Sp Hqr Ab Hamid, SHO P/S Rajouri Yashpaul Singh and I/C PP City Rajouri Mohd Shrief and others from police department attended the funeral procession, spokesperson said, further adding, "an amount of Rs 25,000/- as immediate relief given to next of kin of deceased Head Constable." |
